BTS thanks Pearl ARMY for their third win at MYX Awards 2021

Last night, August 7, MYX Awards 2021 honored the best songs, albums, music videos, and artists that reigned in the Philippines for the past year in a virtual awarding ceremony live-streamed on their various social media channels.

BTS continued their winning streak at the awards show as they won the International Video of the Year award for the third consecutive time.

The music video first all-English smash “Dynamite” toppled four other nominees in the category through fan votes and artist votes on the MYX Music Awards Website, Twitter, and the KUMU App.

Other nominees in the category were Taylor Swift’s “Cardigan,” Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande’s “Rain On Me,” Harry Styles’ “Watermelon Sugar,” and Justin Bieber’s “Yummy.”

This morning, BTS expressed their gratitude to Filipino fans through the official BTS Twitter account:

“Hello Philippines and #MYXAwards2021! We’re so honored to win International Video of the Year for “Dynamite”! Thank you #BTSARMY for voting! We truly appreciate all your love and support! Mahal namin kayo!” they wrote.

This is now BTS’ third win at the annual awards show held in the Philippines following the International Video of the Year awards for “FAKE LOVE” in 2019 and “Boy With Luv (ft. Halsey)” in 2020.
